A Mass of Christian Burial for Theodore Bernard Stottmann Jr. 83 of Mooreland will be held 10:00 AM Saturday February 21, 2009 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Nallapatti Thomas & the Deacon Kenny officiating. A Vigil will be held at 6:00 PM at the Nichols-Zwanizger Chapel with Deacon Phil Kenny officiating. Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery under the direction of the Nichols-Zwanziger Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Woodward.

Theodore Bernard Stottmann Jr. was born on August 1, 1925 to Theodore Bernard and Lucy Elizabeth Noel Stottmann Sr. in Ninnekah, Oklahoma. He departed from this life on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the Moorland Heritage Manor in Mooreland.

He attended the Curtis Schools. After school he went work in the oilfield where he retired as a pipeline worker. He enjoyed farming raising dairy cattle, pigs, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Woodward County Democratic Party and Farmers Union Group

Theodore is survived by his brothers George Stottmann of Ringwood and John Stottmann of Mooreland, two sisters Catherine Glover of Mooreland and Rachel Highfill of Enid, his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lucy Pitcherello.
