Anna Mae Flessas was born on October 4, 1928, in Higgins Texas; she was the daughter of Clark Jameson and Goldie (George) Rogers. Ann attended various elementary schools and graduated high school in Enid in 1947. She lived for a short time in Oklahoma City before moving to Mooreland in 1959. She lived there until 2007 when she moved to Humble Texas to live with her daughter, Angie, son-in-law and grandchildren. She obtained her degree in nursing and worked as Director of Nursing for the Mooreland Hospital for 20+ years and then became director of Obstetrics for Woodward Memorial Hospital where she retired in 1996. Living the past 4 years with her daughter was an incredible gift for both her and Angie's family - one that will be remembered by them for a lifetime. Even when it became more difficult to get around, she still traveled extensively with them on her scooter enjoying Disney, Sea World and many festivals with her grandchildren. She was always available to help with homework and became the main chef of the household. Collecting recipes and cooking was a lifelong passion and her family enjoying trying out the results. In her spare time, she loved to quilt, knit and take care of her pets - Mazlik, the household dog and two cats.

Ann has been a strong Christian all of her life and attended both the Mooreland Assembly of God Church and Kingwood Bible Church after moving to Texas.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Willard R. Rogers. Survivors include her daughter, Angie (Flessas) Braun, her husband Paul and their three children Nicholas, Matthew and Caden. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family where she was known as "Grandma Ann". She considered Melody her adopted daughter and the Brinson girls - Stephanie, Samantha and Grace - her grandchildren as well.

Memorials may be made to the Mooreland Assembly of God Church with the funeral home accepting the memorials.
