MOORELAND - Joe Elem, 65, retired park supervisor, died Sunday in a Woodward hospital. His service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Moorland First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Rittenhours and the Rev. Jack Winkler officiating. Bural will be in the Moorland Cemetery with rites conducted by the Mooreland Masonic Lodge. Arrangements are by Billings-Knittel Funeral Home, Mooreland.

Survivors include his wife, Lala; one step-son, Larry Garten, Pheonix, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Peggy Baker, Oklahoma City, and Joyce Garten, of the home; two brothers, Charles, Vici, and Wayne, Waynoka; one step-brother, Leslie Wheeler, Mooreland; three sisters, Zelma Thompson, Mooreland, Neva Barnett Canton, and Mytie Swartz, Longdale; one step-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Burdick, Mooreland; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
