NOVA LEE BORRELLI

Woodward, Okla. — Nova Lee Borrelli, 70 year old Ardmore resident and former Woodward resident, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home in Ardmore. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Mooreland Cemetery with the Reverend Ray Blakley officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home of Woodward in charge of her arrangements.

Nova Lee Fern (Turner) Borrelli was born on February 26, 1940 in Vici, Oklahoma to Walter Franklin and Ella Elizabeth (Clow) Turner. Nova Lee was reared in Woodward and attended the Woodward schools. She was united in marriage to Charles Henry Gallett in Woodward, Oklahoma. To this union they had two daughters, Cindy and Cheryl. Nova Lee was later married to Frank Jerry Borrelli in Clayton, New Mexico. They made their home in Pampa, Texas where they raised Nova Lee's two daughters.

Nova Lee enjoyed reading, knitting, playing the slot machines and spending time with her family. She loved her dog Corky and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Jones and husband Harold of Ardmore, Cheryl Fergerson and husband Joe of Lubbock, Texas; one brother Melvin Turner and his wife Joyce of Woodward; four grandchildren, Candice and Courtney Jones, Michael Fergerson and Staci Fergerson-Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Caris Johnson and Shane Fergerson; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ella Turner, her husband Frank Borrelli, her son, Michael Gallett and a sister Treva Arlene.
