Funeral services for Cecil L. Borchardt were held Wednesday in the chapel of Byron Mason's Funeral home with Rev. Edward E. Wolfe, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in the Mooreland Cemetery.

Mr. Borchardt died Sunday, Jan. 6, in Woodward Hospital following a brief illness.

Cecil Loraine Borchardt was born in Mooreland, July 13, 1902. He has lived all of his life on the family homestead southwest of Mooreland. He was preceeded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two brothers, Frank L. and A. W. "Sparkie" Borchardt of Brazil, Ind., and six sisters, Mrs. Lenora Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. W. S. Morris and Mrs. H. A. Whitcomb of Woodward, Mrs. Alex Dye of Felt, Mrs. Myrle Foglesong of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. John Sachs of Denver.
