NORTH RICHLAND HILLS - Thomas Edison Huff, 78, formerly of Pampa, died Friday, June 21, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fargo Cemetery in Fargo, Okla. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck, Okla.
Mr. Huff was born Aug. 16, 1923, to Tebe and Jessie Huff in Fargo. After attending local schools he joined the Army in 1940. He participated in the D-Day invasion at Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany during World War II.
After the war he was married to Margie Lennington of Fargo on Aug. 21, 1946, in Woodward, Okla. He worked as general manager of Pampa Concrete Co. of Pampa for 26 years.
He also owned and operated businesses in Lubbock and White Deer. After retiring and residing in Amarillo for several years, he and Margie had recently moved to North Richland Hills to be near their daughter and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Ralph; and three nephews, Terry, Roy and Tommy.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years; a daughter, Gay Green and husband, Andy, of Keller; a sister, Mamie Chamberlain of Arnett, Okla.; a brother, Wayne and wife, Julianna, of Ada, Okla.; two grandchildren, Adam of Annapolis, Md., and Katye of Keller; five nieces; and four nephews.
