WOODWARD, Okla. - John H. Latta, 95, died Sunday, May 12, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodward First Presbyterian Church with Melvin Rittenhouse officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery by Billings Funeral Home.
Mr. Latta was born Dec. 31, 1906, in Ellis County. He married Reva Atkinson on Feb. 1, 1931.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Dwight Latta of Fort Supply, Ernest Latta of Amarillo, Texas, Pat Highfill of Mooreland, and Joyce Hamilton and John W. Latta, both of Fargo; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials be to Greenwood Cemetery, which may be sent to the funeral home.
