Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Valley View Church of the Nazarene with Doug Srader and the Rev. Philip Daniels, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors by the Naval Reserve Force from New Orleans. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mr. Erwin was born Aug. 20, 1955, in Liberal, Kan. He served in the Navy during Vietnam. He married Maria Santos in 1975 in the Philippines. He owned Northstar Religious Books and Gifts in Amarillo. He was a foreman at Amarillo Lumber for 15 years. He was a good Christian man.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jennifer Phinisee and husband, Jenero, of Dallas, Kasandra Erwin of Amarillo; a son, D.J. Erwin of Okinawa, Japan; his mother, Wynona Erwin of Woodward, Okla.; a sister, Shelley Warner of Woodward; three brothers, Darrell Webb of Sharon, Okla., Clark Erwin of Branson, Mo., and Jerry Erwin of Minnesota; and a grandchild, Talen Erwin.
