Jerry O.TAYLOR

August 31, 1940 ~ July 10, 2019

Jerry Taylor, 78 year old Woodward resident died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 15, 2019 at Elmwood Cemetery, with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jerry O. Taylor was born on August 31, 1940; he was the son of Earl William and Nora Edna (Cosgrave) Taylor. Jerry attended Woodward schools. In 1963 he was united in marriage to Evelyn L. Custer in Perryton, Texas. They made their home in Woodward. Jerry worked in the oilfield throughout his life for various companies.

He enjoyed fishing, and working on lawnmowers.

Jerry is survived by one son, Jerry C. Taylor; daughter, Rhonda Laverty; four sisters, Hazel Laverty; Anna Icenogle; Donna Stewart; Vera Keepers; four brothers, Danny Taylor; David Taylor; Harvey Taylor; Earl Taylor; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Taylor; four brothers; and one sister.
