Steven Shane Stafford

Steven Stafford, 63 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Woodward First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Brad Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Steven Shane Stafford was born on July 20, 1959 in Antioch, California; he was the son of James Dale and Edith Mae (Magness) Northcutt. Steven grew up and attended John Sweat High School in Concord, California. Steven was united in marriage to Kyong Kim on May 12, 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They made their home in Oklahoma City, before moving to Binger and then settling in Woodward.

Steven worked as a truck driver, but spent most of his life self employed as a flooring installer. He enjoyed his family and friends, visiting, and cooking out. He was also fond of trying his luck at the casinos, going on fishing trips, shooting guns, and building with his hands.

Steven is survived by his wife Kyong of the home; sons, Jean Vo and wife Georjeana; James Stafford and wife Danielle; daughter, Stephanie Harland and husband Jimmy; nine grandchildren, Brittany Bennett and husband Dustin; Devan Brannock; Xavier Vo and wife Ashley; Hayden Vo and wife Destiny; Kimberly Vo; Valarie Roth; Laynee Vo and fiance Brendan; Alexander Chappell; and Joseph Gumienny; great-grandchildren, Paytin Collier; Jayden Bennett; Gabby Calvillo, Braelyn Bennett, Alexander Vo, Paislee Vo; sister, Lynne Johnson and Mark Fascilla; brothers, Tom Stafford; Russ Stafford; Michael Northcutt and wife Melinda; and his best friend Larry Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith Northcutt.
