SHORTY SPENCER

ENID — Shorty Spencer, 87, of Woodward, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Vici Nursing Home.

Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at First United Methodist Church. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Billings Funeral Home, Woodward.

Shorty was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Waynoka, Okla., to Carl Henry and Iona (Dexter) Spencer.

Surviving are children, Sharon Jones, Lloyd Wayne Spencer Jr., Ricky Spencer, Jimmy Lee Spencer, Debbie Whittington and Karan West; brothers, Hershal Spencer, Virgil Spencer, and Harlan Spencer; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded by his wife, Billie, one brother, one sister, one grandson, one son and one daughter.
