Goldie Marie Kearns Singhiser

Goldie Singhiser, 89 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at her home in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Goldie Marie (Kearns) Singhiser was born on February 24, 1934 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Raymond and Permelia Bell (Bruce) Kearns. She attended and graduated from Shattuck High School. Goldie was united in marriage to Billy Singhiser on December 22, 1951 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They were blessed with two children, Allen and Sherry. They lived in Laredo, Texas for a short time before moving back to Woodward. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, but most of all she loved taking care of her family. She is survived by one son, Allen Singhiser and wife Pam of Woodward; one daughter Sherry Roberts of Perkins, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Singhiser, and a brother Ray Kearns. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodward Meals on Wheels with the funeral home accepting the contributions. Remembrances may be shared online at www.billingsfuneralhomewoodward.com
