Alexis Reese Roach

April 11, 2011 ~ July 28, 2020

Reese Roach, nine year old Woodward resident, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 1, 2020 in the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Alexis Reese Roach was born on April 18, 2011 in Enid, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Rick Roach and Laura (VanGuilder) Roach. At the age of 10 months Reese was diagnosed with an optic pathwaygloma (Brain Tumor). Reese had undergone several medical procedures, spent countless hours in the hospital and in doctors offices. Throughout her journey in this life Reese was a happy, spunky nine year old girl that would take on the world without any fear. Reese was looking forward to entering the fourth grade this upcoming school year at Horace Mann Elementary in Woodward. She loved her teachers and friends at school.

Reese is survived by her mother, Laura Roach of the home; her father, Rick Roach and wife Cheryl of Perkins; brother, Rhavin Roach of Perkins; grandparents, Judy Evans and husband Clayton of Woodward; Bud VanGuilder and wife Annie of Clymer, New York; uncles, Ryan Roach and wife Karen of Woodward; Kris Evans and wife Joann of Brazoria, Texas; Lee VanGuilder of Tennessee; several cousins, other family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Toby Keith Foundation, with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
