Millard Thomas Penrice

August 20, 1930 ~ December 13, 2019

Millard Thomas Penrice 89 year old passed away December 13, 2019. He was born to Clyde and Eva (Burger) Penrice in Topeka, Kansas on August 20, 1930. He lived in Eskridge, Kansas and farmed with his dad until he joined the United States Army in 1953. He was honorably discharged in 1955. Millard married Arlene Johnson on September 11, 1954 in Taos, NM. In 1955 they moved to Woodward, OK where he started trucking. He was a trucker for 55 years, driving nearly 4 million miles without an accident. They had two sons, Allan Thomas was born June 17, 1959 and Randal Gene on December 5, 1961. Millard’s hobbies were playing his guitar and singing the old gospel songs. Millard is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Eva Penrice; sisters Hazel Hunt, Roberta Adams, Della May Penrice; granddaughter Amy Wheelright; daughter-in-law Lois Penrice; sister-in-law Viola Stolte. He leaves behind his wife Arlene Penrice; two sons Allan Penrice and wife Betty and Randal Penrice and wife Mary K; ten grandchildren Amber Mullins and husband Todd, Andrea Roberts and husband John, Amanda Mabra and husband Clayton, Sean Penrice, Arlan Penrice and wife Tayla, Allison, Cole, Kyle, Beth, and Marlene Penrice; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; other family and a host of friends.
