Alma L. Morgan, 84 year old Woodward resident, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Grace Living Center in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Woodward Church of Christ with James Bailey and Ray Don Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Alma Lorena (Rieth) Morgan was born on July 27, 1930 to Henry Jacob and Charlotte Emma (Skinner) Rieth. Alma was reared on the family farm near Tangier. She attended Tangier schools and played basketball. Alma graduated from Tangier High School in 1949. She was united in marriage to Bill Eugene Morgan on June 17, 1952 at the Tangier Christian Church. They made their home in Woodward before moving to Dumas, Texas and Ponca City. The family returned to Woodward in 1960 and Alma stayed home with her children. They owned the Downtown Restaurant until her husband became ill in 1979.

Alma was a member of the Woodward Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling and loved attending arts and crafts shows. Alma loved her children and grandchildren and had helped many other children throughout her life.

She is survived by five children, Debra Styles and husband Jim of Woodward, Roy Leon Morgan and wife Debbie of Warner, Jon Morgan and wife Sandra of Woodward, Henry Morgan and wife Joyce of Woodward, Alma Jean Carlisle and husband Leon of Woodward; one sister, Charlene Buck of Woodward; one brother, Wayne Rieth of Pierceville, Kansas; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Rodney Morgan, brother, Dale Rieth, three sisters-in-law, Melvina Rieth, Delta Rieth, Mabel Rieth, and her brother-in-law, Duane Buck.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart and Diabetes Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
