Preston Wayne LehmanPreston W. Lehman, 48 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at his home in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Elmwood Cemetery with the Reverend Jason Dirks officiating.

Preston Wayne Lehman was born on June 24, 1966 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Verlon Elroy and Ellen Charlene (Kahoe) Lehman. Preston was raised in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1985. He worked at the Truck Stop and later went to work driving a truck. Preston continued working until he retired to help take care of his family.

He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard and served for six years. Preston enjoyed working on his motorcycles, reading, and being with his family, especially his nieces, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his dad, Verlon Lehman of Woodward; one sister, Jolonda Ruttman of Woodward; two nieces, Samantha Ruttman and Christol Ruttman of Woodward; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Lehman, and his grandparents, Elma and Ernest Lehman and Cliff and Laura Kahoe.
