LINDA RAE KYSAR

15 Aug 1941 - 22 Aug 2016

Linda Rae Kysar, 75, passed away on August 22, 2016 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa with her nephew by her side. Born in Woodward, OK, she was the daughter of the late George Raymond and Emma Jeannette Kysar and also predeceased by her brother, Charles Winton Kysar.

Linda was a graduate of Woodward High School Class of ‘59 and later moved to Tulsa where she retired from Administration at Central Tech. She was a member of the Laureate Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 56 years, enjoyed playing bunco, and a life-long OU football fanatic. BOOMER SOONER!

She is survived by her nephews, Kenneth Kysar (Beth) and Stacy Kysar (Kristie), her great-nieces and nephews, Ashley, Charles and Karlie Kysar, and her sister-in law, Sharon Clem Bright (Ken), all of Virginia.

The family will receive friends at the Schaudt’s Funeral Home in Tulsa, Friday, August 26 from 7 to 9 pm, with a sorority memorial ritual at 7:30pm. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward on Monday August 29 at 2pm.
