Graveside: 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 - Elmwood Cemetery

Shannon Marie Hunter, 37 year old Woodward resident, died at her home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Elmwood Cemetery.

Shannon was born on January 12, 1978 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Bobby and Deborah (DeVon) Booth. She grew up in the Woodward area and attended Woodward High School.

Shannon worked at Jiffy Trip and the Stock Exchange Bank.

She enjoyed working in her yard, using her lap top, watching family videos on YouTube. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and family along with her beloved dogs.

Shannon is survived by her daughter, Brittany Holt; three sons, Tyson Holt, Trae Holt and Jake Townsend all of the home; her mother, Deborah Booth of Woodward; sisters, Shelly Gonzales and Stacy Booth both of Woodward; brother, Ray Don Whalen of Carrollton, Texas; aunts, Jolene and husband Don Whalen of Woodward, Cindy DeVon of Enid; uncles, Steve DeVon of Mooreland and Kirby DeVon of Woodward; and cousin Brandy and husband Ben Barby of Laverne.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles DeVon; uncle, Chuck DeVon; father, Bobby Booth; and paternal grandfather, Dick Files.
