Steven "Leroy" Day died March 22, 2004 at Woodward, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Woodward, Oklahoma.

He was born March 18, 1931 north of Woodward, Oklahoma to Robert Bruce and Opal Faye Day. He married Edna "Shorty" Marie Clark March 18, 1955 at Woodward, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gene, Jack, Otho Day, and son Steven "Mark".

He is survived by sons Alan "Lee" Day and wife Debbie, Clarksville, Tennessee, Jeffrey "Jeff" Lynn Day and wife Shannon, Woodward, Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandson, sisterinlaws Charlene Day, Woodward, Oklahoma, Eileen Day, Woodward, Oklahoma, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
