Ellen June (Few) Davis was born on June 7, 1946 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Cecil (Buck) and Maudie (Spears) Few. She grew up at Beaver Mountain. June attended Stigler schools and graduated from Stigler High School in 1964. June was united in marriage to Lewis (Edgar) Davis on August 10, 1965 in Lakin, Kansas. They made their first home in Hays, Kansas before moving to Woodward in 1972. They were blessed with two daughters, Lisa and Sheila.

June worked for Melvin Johnson Accounting, the Woodward Daily Press, and her and Edgar fostered children for numerous years. She was a past president of Jaycee Jaynes and was a past president of the Woodwardettes Extension Club. June loved doing crafts with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was a loving wife for almost 55 years. June loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved plants, gardening, crafts, and making decorations for the nursing home and veterans hospital. June had an extensive collection of Santas. The grandkids would always try to decide who was going to help her put them up, Edgar always got the short straw. She also had an overwhelming collection of chickens but her favorite collection through was the pictures of her family. June will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Edgar Davis of the home; two daughters, Lisa Turner of Okeene, Sheila Schlarb and husband James of Chester; sisters: Purlene Self, Robbie Neel and husband Elmer, Ann Frazier, H.C. Few, and Ruth Tallant; five grandsons, four granddaughters; five great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters; other relatives and friends.
