RAE D. STECHER CUMMINGS

24 Oct 1921 - 19 Oct 2005

Mrs. Rae D. Cummings, 83 year old resident of Verden, Oklahoma and sister to Franklin Stecher, died October 19, 2005 at Integris South West Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Elmwood Cemetery, with Gordon Lawson officiating.

Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery, under the direction of the Zwanziger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rae D. (Stecher) Cummings was born October 24, 1921 to Herman and Ollie (Riemenschneider) Stecher at Ft. Supply, Oklahoma. She attended school at Ft. Supply. Rae married Cecil B. Cummings, October 20, 1938 at Enid, Oklahoma.

She loved to be with her family and showing off all her pictures of grandchildren and her two daughters. She also enjoyed going to the lake with her husband Cecil in their motor home to camp under the stars and be close to the water.

She is survived by her husband Cecil Cummings, Verden, Oklahoma, two daughters Connie Pannel, Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Pat Reinwald and husband Norman, Tehachapi, California, six grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and by her brother Franklin Stecher, Woodward, and a host of family and friends.

Rae was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
