Ora Iona Cosgrove

Ora Cosgrave, 81 year old Woodward resident, passed away, Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Mooreland. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Ralston officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Ora Iona Cosgrave was born October 20, 1941 to Ezra Thomas and Sadie M. (Crawford) Cosgrave. Ora grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. She later received her GED.

Ora worked as a school bus driver for Woodward schools. She often enjoyed talking about her days driving the school bus.

She is survived by one brother Roy Cosgrave and wife Sue of Fargo; one sister, Sadie Lee Martin of Wichita, Kansas; eight nephews; two nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

Ora was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Sadie Cosgrave, one son Donald Crites, Jr., one brother, Ezra Cosgrave, Jr., brother in law, Gus Martin, and one nephew, Mark Cosgrave.

Her son Jr. was the love of her life.
