Former Woodward resident Jeremy "Jerry" Weston Caywood went to his final home on January 14, 2012 in Battlement Mesa, Colorado. Jeremy was born in Woodward Memorial Hospital on March 20, 1981 to Michael Arlen and Sharon Kay (Pipins) Caywood.

Jeremy's education came from several different communities in northwest Oklahoma including Cleo Springs, Watonga, Freedom and he graduated from Woodward High School in 1999.

During his school years, Jeremy was very active in Scouting, achieving the prestigious Eagle Scout Award in 1998. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 393 in Freedom and Venture Search and Rescue Crew 393 chartered by Alabaster Caverns State Park.

Jeremy dearly loved the outdoors and his association with God's creatures. This love led to him volunteering for many conservation and educational programs including those at Alabaster Caverns State Park and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

Jeremy was a very dear and loving father to Samantha Ann Hunter and Autumn Kay and Jayce Alan Caywood.

Jeremy worked with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and in many different facets of the oilfield industry in both Oklahoma and Colorado.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Sharon and Mike Caywood of Freedom; daughters Samantha Ann Hunter, Fort Hood, Texas and Autumn Kay Caywood, Woodward; one son Jayce Alan Caywood of Woodward; brothers James Allen Caywood, North Richland Hills, Texas; Jason Lee Caywood and wife Angela, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina; fiancee Nicole Thomas, Rifle, Colorado; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and so very many wonderful friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by grandmother Ruth Pipins and grandparents Shirley and Richard Hannah.

Funeral services will be held at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012. The family will be receiving friends at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012.
