Dorothy Anna (Bull) Begley Dorothy Begley, 94 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church with Dewayne Hammans and Guy Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Dorothy Anna (Bull) Begley was born on March 31, 1920 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Samuel Jay and Anna Floretta (Wilson) Bull. Dorothy grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. She went to work as a Missionary Assistant and traveled to Boise City to spread the word about God. It is in Boise City where she met and married the love of her life, Raymond Lewis Begley on July 7, 1939. In 1943, they made their home in Woodward and they have lived here since that time. They were blessed with three daughters, Barbara Ann, Ada Bertalee, and Sandra Rae. Dorothy worked for Tregos West Wear for many years before she retired.

She was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church and was very devoted to the church. Dorothy led a lot of people to the Lord, she was always saying, “The Harvest is Coming In”. She had a special place in her home where she prayed, “the prayer closet”. Her prayers will be missed by everybody, especially her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Beach and her husband Alva of Woodward, Ada Root of Woodward, Sandy Razien and her husband, Mark of Woodward; eight grandchildren, Robert Burdette and wife Misty of Woodward, Priscilla Jean Jones and husband Chuck of Indiana, Annette Baynes of Woodward, Rhonda Berry and husband Gerald of Woodward, Sherri Weathers of Woodward, Amanda Compton and husband Chad of St. Louis, Missouri, Natalie Razien, Nathan Razien; great-grandchildren, Cynthia Burdette, Jeremy Penly, Cody Burdette, Candyce Kidd, Jason Jones, Derek Jones, Nicole Duke, Chad Duke, Jerrad Zimmerman, Gregory Newby, Joseph Newby, Tabitha Weathers, Joshua Weathers, Travis McAdoo, Carissa Estes, Chase Compton, Kaidden Razien, Gabriel Rueda, Heath Reed, Madelyn Reed; 21 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond on July 3, 1999, a great grandson, Cory Nathan Smith, a great-great grandson, Kaleb Hutchison, nine brothers and sisters, John J. Bull, Charlie W. Bull, Lloyd J. Bull, Raymond Bull, Roy Albert Bull, Edna Perrin, Velma Hammans, Helen Turner, and Mable McCray.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Endtime Ministries with the Billings Funeral Home, 1621 Downs Avenue, Woodward, OK. 73801 accepting the contributions on behalf of the family.
