ROGER L. TRIBOUT

27 Apr 1945 - 26 Jun 2010

Woodward, Okla. — Roger L. Tribout, 65 year old Woodward resident, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2010 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Curtis Cemetery with the Reverend Clyde Irving officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Roger Louis Tribout was born April 27, 1945 to Kathryn (Madison) and Louis "Duck" Tribout in Belleville, Illinois. As a young man he worked in Civil Service in Illinois. He then moved to Oklahoma to work in the Oilfield. Roger worked for ANR Pipeline until his retirement in January of 1998 due to ill health. He was united in marriage to Diana Gonser on September 9, 1991 at the Boiling Springs State Park. They made their home in Woodward and have lived there since that time.

Because of his health, Roger was unable to do a lot of things he loved. He was an amazing father and grandfather. Roger was also an ordained minister.

He is survived by his wife Diana Tribout of the home; his mother, Kathryn Tribout of Belleville, Illinois; son, Matt of Hillsboro, Missouri, son, Wesley and wife Leah of Oklahoma City; daughter Raschale of Woodward; grandchildren, Meredith, Katelyn, Mikala, MaKenzie and Alexia; his mother-in-law, Bessie Gonser; brothers-in-law, Jerry Gonser and wife Karla, Mike Gonser and wife Carol; sisters-in-law, Ashley Kughn and husband Mark, Leslie Miller and husband Mark all of Woodward; great-nephew, Warren Smith; great-niece, Promise Gonser; daughter, Colleen Tribout of Chicago, Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis "Duck" Tribout, sister, Virginia, his grandparents, his father-in-law, aunts and uncles.

Roger will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and he will always be remembered for his friendliness and passion for life.
