Thomas Eugene Fields

September 19, 19569 ~ July 10, 2020

Thomas (Tom) Eugene Fields, Sr, peacefully departed from this world on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the age of 63 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Curtis Cemetery, east of Mooreland. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Eugene Fields, Sr. was born September 19, 1956 to Thomas and Juanita Fields of Woodward, Oklahoma. At a young age and being a military dependent, he resided in several states and self taught himself in mechanical and electrical technology. He used this skill when he returned to Woodward and opened his own business AirFresh Tom Heat and Air for 30 plus years.

As the Oklahoma Department of Civil Defense Emergency Information (Ready Woodward), stated, He was one of our most active volunteers and has volunteered for the past 15 years with us, working behind the scenes on every wildfire, tornado, ice storm and blizzard we have had in Woodward County.

Tom is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra (Nordick) Fields of Woodward; son, Tommy Fields from a previous marriage; Pam Brokaw, Becky Crawford and husband Derek; Jenniffer Martin and husband Steven, Bryan Rowland and wife Shannon; siblings: Jerri L. (Fields) Underwood of Kaw City, Oklahoma, Tami R. (Fields) and Rick Swineford of Laverne, Wesley A. Fields of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Stephen B. and Pamela (Ward) Fields of Newalla; grandchildren: Titan Eugene Fields, Taylor Frederick, Ryland Vassar and wife Christy, Raylie Vassar and Jacob Summers, Rance Vassar, Landyn Crawford, Molly Brokaw, Ryder Brokaw, Greyson Brokaw, Bailey Rowland; great-grandchildren: Ben, Lela Rose, Paislee, and Elayna; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Juanita (Canfield) Fields.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
