Woodward, Okla. — B. Dean Clayton, 63, of Beaumont, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.

He was born August, 20, 1948, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Gladys Sears and John Clayton, and had been a resident of Beaumont since 1962. He was employed in the banking and financial industry. Dean participated in the Beaumont Civic Opera, his church choir, and Men’s Quartet. He was faithfully dedicated for serving his community through YMBL and loved playing dominos on Wednesday nights after church.

Survivors include his parents; sisters, Carolyn Brady and her husband, Joe of Dallas, Patty Jo Howie and her husband, Collin of Beaumont, and Holly Petrie and her husband, Daniel of Vidor; nieces and nephews; Kim Willis and her husband, Mark, Ginger Kelley and her husband, Chip, Connie Stroud and her husband, Dwaine, Matt Brady, Jonathan Brady and his wife, Lindsey, Kaitlyn Petrie, Tori Petrie, Clayton Petrie, and Harris Petrie; twelve great nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members.

Dean’s funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Woodland Baptist Church, 1860 West Lucas, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Broussard’s.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Cedardale Cemetery, Mooreland, Oklahoma, under the direction of Billings Funeral Home, Woodward, Oklahoma.
