Waynoka Cemetery


Deceased: James Richard 'Jim' Zook, 94, Waynoka

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Oct. 20, 2006, at the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

James Richard "Jim" Zook, son of the late Jacob Irvin and Hannah (Kagarice) Zook, was born Oct. 18, 1912, and passed away Oct. 18, 2006, on his 94th birthday at Woodward.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Verda; six brothers, Albert (Bud) Zook, Chester Zook, Fred Zook, Harry Zook, Howard Zook, Ralph Zook; and three sisters, Bess Robinson, Lillian Zook, and Madeana Spears.

Jim is survived by two sons, Richard Zook and his wife, Ava, of Waynoka, Gary Zook of Waynoka; one daughter, Rosa Lee Whipple and her husband, Dennis of Waynoka; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
