A graveside service for Mary Lou Urban, 86, of Alva will be 2 PM Thursday at Waynoka Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Marsalis will officiate. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

She was born April 22, 1918, in Taiban, New Mexico, to John Buford and Bertha Willi Tinkle Lewis and died Sunday, September 26, 2004, at Share Medical Center, Alva.

She attended school at Amarillo, Texas, and graduated from Waynoka High School in 1936. She married James Raymond Urban on July 10, 1941, at Alva. She worked as a Harvey Girl and for Doc Wright's Drug Store. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Bill Urban of Waynoka; one daughter, Lynn Banville of Yuma, Arizona; five grandchildren; four great – grandchildren; and two step great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, two brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services for James Raymond Urban, 68, will be at 4 PM Friday at the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Mike Marsalis of the Church of Christ will officiate. Burial is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

He was born at Waynoka May 5, 1918, and died at Clapper Memorial Hospital Wednesday. On July 10, 1941, he married Mary Lou Lewis at Alva. He lived in Waynoka all his life, except for six years when he lived in Amarillo.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, of the home; a son, Bill Urban, Waynoka; a daughter, Lynn Banville, Saudi Arabia; a sister, Lois Lewis, Waynoka, and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Waynoka Ambulance or Clapper Memorial Hospital.
