Waynoka Cemetery


Waynoka – Graveside rites for Leonard W. Urban, 66, will be at 2 PM Friday in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery, with the Rev. Chester Brown, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Urban died Monday in an Amarillo, Texas, hospital after a short illness.

He was born July 24, 1915, at Waynoka and lived there until moving to Amarillo 19 years ago. Urban was a retired Santa Fe Railroad employee. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Doris Lewis of the home in Amarillo; four daughters, Jacque Crusinberry, Waynoka, Patricia Gillham and Joyce Horn, Graham, Texas, and Kay Kennedy, Midwest City; a brother, Raymond Urban, Waynoka; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Lois) Lewis, Waynoka; 10 grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren
