Waynoka Cemetery


The funeral for Jaunita Rose Passwater(s), 90, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, at Waynoka Church of God. The Rev. William S. Kalfas will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Medford, to Tully and Mary Irene Reihm Hall, and died Friday, March 27, 2009, in Alva.

She attended school in Galena and Alva. She graduated from Enid Beauty School. She married Ray Thomas Passwater(s) May 14, 1939. She worked as a beautician and a waitress. She worked for Doc Wright and later as a nurse aide until her retirement. She was a member of Waynoka Church of God and a member of Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Alice Arndt of Waynoka; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, one son, five brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka Church of God.
