Waynoka Cemetery


Deceased: Nelson J. Parks, 97, Waynoka

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, on Nov. 27, 1995; one son, Maurice Webb Parks; one daughter, Norma Jean Parks; one brother, Babe Parks, and four sisters, Izetta Callison, Sadoris Bull, Thelma Hutchinson and Maxine Coursey.

Nelson is survived by two sons, James Earl and Eileen Parks of Waynoka, and Dan Lee and Juanita Parks of Derby, Kan., and one daughter, Dell Nutter and Aaron of Waynoka; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mildred Patterson of Weatherford, six nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. April 28 at the First Baptist Church in Waynoka with Rev. David Shaw officiating. Interment will be at the Waynoka Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka is in charge of arrangements.
