ADAIR, OK — Funeral service for Glenn Litzell, 47, of Adair, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Adair. Pastor Dan Lewis will officiate. Graveside service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Waynoka Cemetery, Waynoka, Okla. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Key Funeral Home in Pryor. Service is under the direction of Key Funeral Home, Pryor.

Glenn was born Feb. 1, 1966, in Waynoka, Okla., to John Nelson “Jack” and Betty (Cleckner) Litzell. He passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, in Tulsa at the age of 47.

Glenn grew up and attended school in North Enid and graduated from Chisholm High School in 1983.

He joined the United States Army in 1984, and served until he was honorably discharged in 1988.

He moved to Chicago, where he worked for Ford Motor Co. as an auto mechanic, and lived there until 1997, when he moved back to Enid.

He met Charlotte Harris in May 1997. They were married Sept. 18, 1997, in Tulsa. They made their home in Tulsa for a short time then moved to Chouteau in July 1998. They had a small farm on 5 acres and Glenn worked for Northpoint Ford in Pryor as a senior master technician. He worked at Northpoint from 1998-2008. They moved to Adair in 2003 and in 2008, they opened their business, C&G Automotive in Adair.

Glenn enjoyed working, and working on his Hot Rods, and he also loved riding his Harley. He was a wonderful husband, son, Pa, brother and friend.

He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Adair for the past 7 years. He loved using the gifts he was given by God to help others. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of the home; three special girls who call him Pa, Katherine, Ashleigh and Sarah; his mother, Betty Litzell of Enid; one sister, Jackie Lewis and husband Ron of Enid; and one brother, Earl Litzell and wife Laura of Claremore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack, his grandparents and one brother, John Allen Litzell.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church in Adair or Clarehouse in Tulsa.
