MARY ETTA KUTZ

The funeral for Mary Etta Kutz, 88, will be 2 p.m.Wednesday at Waynoka First United Methodist Church. Marvin Stuckey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mar-shall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

She was born Aug. 21, 1918, in Basin, Wyo., to Abraham Lincoln and Mary Augusta Johnson Snyder and died Sunday, March 4, 2007, in Waynoka.

The family moved from Wyoming to Sunshine Valley, Taos County, N.M., and she grew up and graduated from Costilla, N.M., High School. She worked as a cooks helper at Moly Mine west of Red River, N.M. She married Wayne Marion Kutz July 22, 1939, in Seiling. They made their home in Waynoka. He died Jan. 22, 1970. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Ada Ann Quilting Club. She was active in Waynoka Senior Citizens.

Surviving are one son, Rodney Kutz of Ponca City; one daughter, Marilyn Toellner of Waynoka; one sister, Gladys McDonald of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, four brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka Nursing Center Activity Fund or Waynoka First United Methodist Church.
