The funeral for Darral Lee Inman, 64, of Denison, Texas, formerly of Waynoka, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Northside Church of Christ, Waynoka. Rodney Guy will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Cherokee.

He was born April 2, 1944, in Alva to Ila Harmon Inman and Delfred Inman and died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, in Denison.

He attended school at Del Plain through the eighth grade, when he moved with his family to Waynoka where he attended high school and later attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he played basketball for four years.

He married Donna Riley and taught math and coached basketball at Laverne. He managed Inman Livestock Transportation in Alva for 16 years before returning to teaching math and coaching at Timberlake High School. He retired in 1998 due to a stroke. In 2001, they moved to Denison.

Surviving are his wife, Donna, of Denison; three daughters, Stacie Wrobbel of Clear Lake, Texas, Krista Blaser of Edmond, and Kelli Schenk of Kingfisher; his parents, Delfred and Ila Inman of Waynoka; two brothers, Raymond and Tim Inman; one sister, Judy Barnett; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
