Waynoka Cemetery


Deceased: Mae Luella Huffman, 86, Elk City

Mae Luella Huffman, 86, daughter of the late John E. and Effie L. (Bolar) Seacris, was born July 6, 1916, in Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away July 24, 2001, at the Bell Avenue Nursing Center in Elk City.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Seacris and Lloyd Seacris; four sisters, Ruby Brinson, Agnes Sims, Bess Laswell and Jean Bode; and two grandchildren, Bill Dean Irwin and David Lee Gibson.

Mae is survived by one son, Norval Lee Huffman and his wife, Deanna of Andover, Kan.; three daughters, Betty Green of Moore, Judy Brandel and her husband, Craig of Sayre, and Janice Bush of Elk City; one brother, Cloyd Seacris and his wife, Donna of Cherokee; one sister, Erma Gamble of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. July 27 at the Waynoka Cemetery with Rev. David Shaw officiating. Interment is under the direction of the Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Waynoka EMTs.
