Waynoka Cemetery


Waynoka – Mrs. Della Irene Hodges, 81, who had lived in the Waynoka area since 1912, died Monday morning in a Waynoka nursing home.

Her funeral will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Stow and the Rev. Clayton Conley officiating.

Mrs. Hodges will be buried in the Waynoka Cemetery, with the Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka in charge of arrangements.

She was born February 17, 1899, in Jackson County, Missouri, and was married to Harold H. Hodges January 18, 1917.

Mrs. Hodges was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Harold, a son, Stuart Hodges, Waynoka; a daughter, Waynona Jones of Winfield, Kansas; two sisters, Caroline Dupy of Waynoka and Alta McCord, Topeka, Kansas; 10 grandchildren and 14 great – grandchildren.
