Waynoka Cemetery


May 11, 1923 - September 12, 2005

Clara Elnora Lahr, daughter of the late Earl and Bonnie (Millsap) Cropp, was born May 11, 1923, one mile north of Waynoka in Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away September 12, 2005, at Share Convalescent Home in Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 1 day.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John Fuqua, Dan Jones, and Woody Lahr; four brothers, twin brother, James Cropp, who died as an infant; John Cropp, Rex Cropp, and Lee Cropp.

Clara is survived by two sons, Johnny Fuqua and his wife, Paula, of Waynoka, and Wesley Fuqua of Tonkawa; two brothers, Jack Cropp and his wife, Lila, of Kiowa, Kansas, and Gary Cropp and his wife, Virginia, of Hoisington, Kansas; one sister, Hazel Duran and her husband, Jerry, of Salina, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Juanita Cropp of Hopeton; three grandchildren, John Russell Fuqua of Alva, Katie Joe Fuqua of Waynoka, and Charles William Woods of Carmen; three step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, at the Waynoka Northside Church of Christ with Mike Marsalis officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Waynoka EMTs.
