Waynoka Cemetery


Claudie Eugene Cook, 68, son of Perry Ellsworth and Dora Mae (Pugh) Cook, was born December 25, 1934, in Major County, Oklahoma, and passed away suddenly, October 15, 2003, at his home in Waynoka.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Ellsworth Cook; one daughter, Vickie Yvone Seiger; two brothers, Perry Ellsworth Cook, Jr., and Larry Cook; and two half sisters, Alma Ward and Maxine Cook.

Claude is survived by his wife, Fay, of Waynoka; three sons, Claudie Eugene Cook, Jr and his wife, Arlene, of Woodward, David Wayne Cook of Waynoka, and Jimmy Andrew Cook of Waynoka; one brother, Irvan Cook of Gage; one sister, Betty Rauch and her husband, Ralph, of Enid; one half-brother, Jim Kelly and his wife, Jean, of Tacoma, Wash.; and one half-sister, Mary Woods of Enid.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Crystal Seiger of Altus, Mikeena Cook of Woodward, Kendra Seiger of Altus, Cody Cook and his wife, Kristina, of Woodward, Elizabeth Cook of Woodward, Bradley Cells of Waynoka, Talem Marie Cook of Carmen, Clint Cook of Woodward, and Cierra Cook of Woodward; one great granddaughter, Jullian Cook of Woodward; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2003, at the Waynoka First Baptist Church with Pastor David Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to First Baptist Church or the Waynoka EMTs.
