Graveside memorial services for Glenn Roy Cellan will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. He was cremated at his request under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Glenn Roy Cellan, son of the late Sam and Delores (Jordan) Cellan, was born June 21, 1938, at Alva, Oklahoma, and passed away August 21, 2018, at Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years and 2 months.

Glenn graduated from Alva High School with the Class of 1957 and then enlisted in the United States Navy. After his discharge on January 15, 1959, Glenn farmed in Kansas. During his employment in Kansas, he married Lois Corr. To their marriage were born two boys, Jimmy and David.

After leaving Kansas, Glenn and Lois set up residence in Alva, where he was employed by Fisher Painting and Share Medical Center. On December 20, 1980, he was united in marriage to Bessie Martin.

Glenn was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Alva. He enjoyed building model cars and collecting die cast cars and coins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jimmy Cellan and David Cellan; his wife, Bessie Cellan; two brothers, Kenneth Cellan and Harold Cellan; three nephews, Vernon Ashlock, Les Ashlock, and Kearrian "Butch" Ashlock.

Glenn is survived by his sister-in-law, Doris Cellan of Alva; his nephew, Mike Ashlock of Woodward; his niece, Ramona Dunn and husband, James, of Edmond; other relatives and friends.
