Waynoka Cemetery


WAYNOKA — The funeral for James Henry Ball, 51, of Wayoka, will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 4, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Waynoka. The Rev. David Shaw will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cem-etery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

He was born Dec. 29, 1958, in Grants, N.M., to Ernestine and Andrew Jackson Ball and died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at his home.

He attended school in Progress, Miss., and El Nido, Calif., before graduating from Dos Palos High School.

He lived in Oklahoma City, where he managed a horse ranch. He moved to Waynoka 12 years ago, where he worked at Little Sahara State Park, Jiffy Trip and Ampride. He was working at Little Sahara Power Sports at the time of his death.

He was raised in the Pentecostal Church of God.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Ernestine and Alvin Pixler of Waynoka; two brothers, Andrew Ball of Lowell, Ark., and Donald Ball of Warr Acres; two sisters, Andrea Young of Rogers, Ark., and Carolyn Lockwood of Albany, Ore.; three stepbrothers, Stanley Pixler of Ceour d’Alene, Idaho, Dan Pixler of Mariposa, Calif., and Alan Pixler of Cincinnati; and one stepsister, Geraldine Johnson of Post Falls, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka EMT or Creature Concerns.

Condolences may be made at Marshall Funeral Home.
