Waynoka – Services for Robert Wyatt Armour, 87, will be 2 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church in Waynoka with the Rev. David Shaw officiating. Burial will be at the Waynoka Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

He died Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He was born in Bently, Kansas, May 23, 1898. In 1903 his family moved to the 21 Crossing on the Cimmaron River near Galena. He attended Elm Grove Elementary school and Alva High school.

On February 18, 1922, he married Mattie Hutchison in Enid. They farmed and ranched in the Galena area, southeast of Waynoka.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie, of the home; two daughters, Willa Jean Kendall, Tulsa, and Virginia Lamb, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mabel Wilson, Waynoka, JanEva Deal, Dallas, Texas and Louella Shedrick of Yukon; five grandchildren, and two great – grandchildren.

Waynoka – The funeral for Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" Armour, 93, will be at 3 PM Monday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cathy Jo Wicks officiating. Burial will be in the Waynoka Cemetery, under the direction of the Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

She was born September 3, 1899, in Beaver County to William E. and Rosa Leona Keen Hutchinson and died Thursday, June 10, 1993, at Edmond. Her family moved from Beaver County to the Waynoka area in 1903. She married Robert Wyatt Armour on February 18, 1922, in Enid. They made their home on a farm east of Waynoka and later built a home in Waynoka. She was an active member of the Baptist Church in Waynoka.

Surviving are two daughters, Willia Jean Kendall of Tulsa and Virginia Lamb of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren and two great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers, one sister and one grandson.
