Stephen Michael Spellman, 36, Alva

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Judge F. B. H. Spellman and his wife, Beatrice, and Max W. Mueller.

Steve is survived by his wife, Rachel, of the home; one son, Carter Braxton Michael Spellman; one daughter, Stephanie Lane Victoria Spellman; his parents, Fred and Eileen Spellman of Ponca City; his grandmother, Mary Mueller of Ponca City; one brother, Fred M. Spellman and his wife, Nicole, of Mustang; one sister, Kathleen Rubin and her husband, Jeff, of Wilsonville, Ore.; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Bettielou Lane of Alva; his grandmother-in-law, Goldie Houts of Alva; one sister-in-law, Stacie Jones and her husband, Kenneth Jones of Delmont, Penn.; four brothers-in-law, Bryan Stephenson and his wife, Karen of Woodward; Craig Stephenson of Moore, Mike Lane and his wife, Jill, of Ponca City, and Kurtis Stephenson and his wife, Pam of Yukon; other relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Dave Imming and Dr. Greg Hook officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Spellman Children Love Fund.
