Funeral services for Rebecca Susanne Shook will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at the Dacoma Church of God with Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Preston Hill Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Rebecca Susanne Shook, daughter of Wilburn Lee Shook, the late Alice Shook, and Gladys Mae Bradford was born September 20, 1980, at Cherokee, Oklahoma, and passed away September 18, 2008, in Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 27 years, 11 months and 28 days.

Becky attended the Carmen-Dacoma School, where she graduated from the eighth grade the last year of the school. She then graduated from Alva High School. Last May, she received her degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Business Administration and Marketing.

As a life-long member of the Dacoma Church of God, she enjoyed studying the Bible, where Isaiah was her favorite book. She also enjoyed all types of music and was a very talented singer. Her nieces were a very important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rachel Shook.

Becky is survived by her father, Wilburn Lee Shook; her mother, Gladys Mae Bradford; one sister, Becky Dillman and husband, George, of Enid, Oklahoma; and special cousins, Cassie and Ricky Glenn and their children, Payton and Paxton of Cunningham, Kansas, and Amanda and Michele Harmon of Alva; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Dacoma Church of God.
