Deceased: Rev. Eldon Everett Powers, 60, Alva

Eldon is survived by his wife, Bobbie, of Alva; two sons, Victor Powers and his wife, Carol, of Alva, and Bryan Powers of Alva; one brother, Larry Eugene Powers and his wife, Rena, of Freedom; his father-in-law, Enos "Budd" Ridgway of Alva; one niece, Arin Powers of Freedom; and one nephew, Adam Powers of Annapolis, Maryland; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. May 10 at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Alva with Rev. Ron Olson, pastor of the Cedar Grove Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will be in the Preston Hill Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Avard Christian Church or to the Freedom Ambulance Service.
