A graveside service for Glen Alfred Gadberry, 81, of Carmen, will be 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hill Cemetery north of Waynoka. Francis Haight will officiate. Arrangements are by Wentworth Mortuary, Carmen.

He was born April 19, 1924, in Pittsburg, Kan., to Glen Herman and Myrl Ferguson Gadberry and died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Beadles Rest Home, Alva.

He attended school in Pittsburg and moved to Carmen in the early 1960s. He mowed lawns and did small jobs for local residents.

He became a resident of the Carmen Home, transferring to Beadles Rest Home, Alva in 2001. 

Surviving are one sister, Ruth Bates of Columbus, Kan., and one brother, Dale Gadberry of Deerfield Beach, Fla. 

He was preceded in death by one brother.
