Deceased: Dean Boyd Ferguson, 81, Alva

Dean is survived by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Ferguson, of Alva; two sons, Stanley Ferguson and his wife, Julie, of Liberal, Kan., and Jim Ferguson and his wife, Susan, of Alva; two grandchildren, David Ferguson and his wife, Monica, of Norman, Oklahoma, and Jamie Carey and her husband, Michael, of Oklahoma City; two great grandchildren, Emily Ferguson and Cameron Carey; two brothers, Max Ferguson and his wife, Dorothy, of Pensacola, Fla., and Ray Ferguson and his wife, Barbara, of Texas; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ with Dr. Larry Haney officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Hill Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Share Medical Center Hospice Program or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research.
