Capron – The funeral for Stella Margaret Arebalo, 77, will be 2 PM Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Alva, with the Rev. Joel Picard officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Alva, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

She was born August 9, 1920, south of Capron to Walter J. and Hulda Quast Kunzman and died Thursday, April 30, 1998, at Integris Bass Health Center.

She graduated from Alva high school. She married Pete Paul Arebalo on March 24, 1943, in Salina, Kansas. She lived her life in the Capron area. She worked as a cook at the Capron public schools and then at the Central National Bank in Alva for 21 years.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Alva.

She is survived by her husband, Pete, of the home; two sons, Dr. Ronald Arebalo of Springerville, Arizona, Stephen Arebalo of Tulsa; two sisters, Nadine Keitel of Alva, Xenia Gallagher of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research for Diabetes Research.
