Lutheran Cemetery


Funeral services for Jason Kletke were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Timothy Roggow officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Jason Daniel, son of the late Harold G. and Theresa (Stevens) Kletke, was born January 16, 1944, at Alva, and passed away August 30, 2023, at Alva, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 14 days.

Jason was raised in Alva with his brothers and twin sister. He attended Alva Schools and graduated Alva High School in 1962. Jason then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State College for a couple of years. He met and married Virginia Baker. To this union one son, Robin, was born. Jason later married Patricia "Pat" (Seevers) White on November 29, 1970, adding her three children, Alisa, Mike and Todd to their family.

He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, having been baptized as a baby. Jason enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an accomplished woodworker, and could recite all kinds of poetry from memory. He also liked to read and his church was of upmost importance to him. Jason was a carpenter for many years and also had a custom harvest business and was an area farmer.

Besides his parents, Harold and Theresa, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; a brother, Edward Kletke; and his twin sister, Joyce Morse.

Jason is survived by his children, Robin Kletke and wife Robin (of Woodinville, Washington), Todd White (of Overland Park, Kansas), Mike White (of Alva), and Alisa Sargent and husband Verl (of Alva); a brother, Dale Kletke (of Canon City, Colorado); three grandchildren, Parker White (of Overland Park, Kansas), Nathan Gaisford and wife Lacey (of Versailles, Missouri), and Tanner White (of Alva); two great-grandchildren, Avery Gaisford and Owen White; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Zion Lutheran Church.
