Freedom Cemetery


ENID — Service for James L. Omey, 73, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Freedom Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Kinkel officiating. Interment at Freedom Cemetery. Arrangements by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.

James was born Oct. 18, 1938, in Alva to Nina Mae (Campbell) and Lewis Omey and died at St. Francis Hospital In Wichita, Kan.

He is survived by wife, Verina; sister, Rita Cohoon; three daughters, Shelly Province, Patricia Jessup and Debbie Harzman; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
